Alumni Endowment Fund

Powered by AUA’s global community of 7,000+ alumni, the AUA Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund is opening doors for outstanding students to follow in alumni’s footsteps and shape Armenia’s future.

Originally launched by the Class of ’93 in celebration of their 20th graduation anniversary, the AUA Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund is a powerful example of graduates investing in future generations. Since its establishment, AUA alumni have donated 185,760 USD to the Fund, which has grown to a market value of 289,317.70 USD as of May 2025, supporting 18 exceptional students in pursuing their education at AUA to date. In 2024-2025 alone, $10,000 in scholarship pay outs opened doors for students with the determination and drive to become Armenia’s next generation of thought leaders.

When I received my scholarship, I was so happy and, at the same time, so relieved. I had been eagerly anticipating this news, as I knew that I would have difficulty continuing my studies at AUA without this scholarship. Naturally, I was delighted and honored that you granted me such an opportunity. Your decision to support my studies demonstrates your faith in me. I promise that one day in the future, I will meet your expectations, thanks to this investment.

The AUA Alumni Honor Circle recognizes alumni whose annual contributions reflect a shared commitment to advancing
the University’s mission and supporting future generations of students.

Alumni who contribute a total of $200 USD or more to the Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund
within a single fiscal year (July 1-June 30) are recognized as members of the Honor Circle.

Honor Circle participants are recognized across the following giving levels:

Champion: $1500-$2500

Ambassador: $500-$1500

Supporter: $200-$500

In recognition of their support, Honor Circle members receive invitations to select activities, events, and engagements
hosted by the AUA Office of Alumni Relations, including:

Networking events organized by or in collaboration with AUA

Institutional gatherings and receptions

Select engagements with University leadership, trustees, donors, or partners

A named scholarship is a meaningful way to create lasting impact and honor your personal connection to AUA. With a minimum annual gift of $4,000 (full one-year tuition for one student) or $2,500 (partial one-year tuition for one student), alumni can establish a named scholarship as part of the AUA Alumni Scholarship Endowment Fund to support students throughout their academic journey.

Most donors choose to make multi-year pledges, which ensure that their named scholarship supports a student from enrollment through graduation. These scholarships not only open doors, but also carry the donors’ name, values, and legacy forward with the success of the supported students.
