Alumni will be recognized within Honor Circle giving levels upon making cumulative charitable contributions totaling $200 USD or more within a single fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

The Honor Circle giving levels are as follows:

Only donations that are successfully processed and received within the applicable fiscal year will be counted toward this threshold.

Charitable Contributions and Designation

All donations associated with the Honor Circle are made to the American University of Armenia Corporation (“AUAC”), the U.S.-based nonprofit entity supporting AUA.

AUAC is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. Federal Tax ID Number: #94-3140704. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Donors are solely responsible for determining the tax consequences of their contributions.

Honor Circle recognition may include invitations to certain AUA OAR-hosted activities, events, or engagements. Such opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Networking events organized by or in collaboration with AUA OAR

  • Select meetings or events involving University leadership, trustees, donors, or partners

All such invitations are issued at AUA OAR’s sole discretion and are subject to availability, capacity limitations, and institutional priorities.

No Consideration or Exchange of Value

Contributions made to AUAC are voluntary charitable donations and are not made in exchange for goods, services, or guaranteed benefits.

Honor Circle recognition and any associated invitations or engagements are incidental to charitable giving and do not constitute consideration, contractual rights, or enforceable benefits.

Program Administration and Discretion

AUA OAR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine eligibility, recognition status, and the nature, timing, or availability of any associated engagements or communications.

AUA OAR may limit, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Honor Circle program at any time without prior notice.

Amendments
